Warren County Football Dinner
We have been asked by the Football Booster Club to prepare a meal for the
football boys and coaches, Thursday October 25th. There will be 60 guests. We will
be serving hamburger steaks, baked potatoes, baked beans, tossed salad and desserts.
We ask if anyone would be willing to donate homemade brownies or homemade cookies
and/or 2 large bottles each of Honey Mustard, 1000 Island or French dressings,
please let Carolyn Morgan, Peggy Moore, Joyce Nowlin, Rhonda Lee, Nancy Priest
or Donna Evans know.
As you know, our church is actively involved in recycling of plastic, cardboard and
aluminum cans. Sally and I recently visited McMinnville Green, a local recycling
facility. Among other things we learned that they now accept plastic bottles WITH
the caps. I appreciate everyone who has helped our effort to recycle. I will take all plastic
bottles with caps (please rinse) and clean cardboard to the fairgrounds facility
which then goes to McMinnville Green. It's a great way to reduce the landfills.
Halloweeen Harvest Fest
Has everyone seen our Harvest Fest train of carts on the bullentin board outside the sanctuary? The apples represent 30 boxes of juice
drinks, the pumpkins represent boxes of chips and the ears of corn represent money. (if you write a check please put in the memo line
Harvest Fest.) We ask if you would like to donate, please have the items here by October 28th. We had 350+ last year and we
expect more this year.
There are approximately 600 to 700 pavers up for bid. You can submit a sealed bid for these
